Yes, I had to be apart from my sweetheart on Valentine’s Day, but I consider that a small sacrifice in exchange for some authentic Louisiana King Cake. I won’t make any comments about how good this particular King Cake was or was not, but let’s just say that Covington has nothing on Lafayette in the King Cake baking department. However, Jonathan didn’t go to Lafayette on business and since beggars can’t be choosers, I may or may not have eaten 3 pieces so far. God Bless Mardi Gras.
